Apology for delay in the review process

Dear authors who have submitted the manuscript recently,

Thank you very much for submission of your manuscript to Journal of Forest Research (JFR), with your large efforts.

Here, I sincerely apologize the delay in starting the review process after we received a manuscript in recent weeks. Recently, we have been facing a system error in Editorial Manger, arising from the recent change in the submission system from Editorial Manager to Submission Portal. Unfortunately, it takes too much time to solve this system error.

Under such an emergency, we have decided to start the review process without going through the Editorial Manager to avoid future delays.
