要旨本文 Ectomycorrhizal (ECM) fungi regulate belowground processes, including nutrient acquisition and carbon-nitrogen cycling. In ECM-dependent Betula ermanii, shifts in fungal community structure may directly influence seedling establishment under climate change. We analyzed ECM fungal richness and community structure in soils and roots of B. ermanii seedlings across five planting sites and multiple seed source populations. ECM fungal assemblages were primarily structured by planting site. Root ECM communities were additionally shaped by population, suggesting host-driven filtering of fungal partners. Unexpectedly, ECM fungal richness was higher at warmer sites, indicating dominance of stress-tolerant taxa rather than diversity loss. These results demonstrate how environmental filtering and host-mediated selection jointly shape ECM communities and accentuate the importance of incorporating host_fungus compatibility into assisted migration strategies for climate-vulnerable forests.
