| 要旨本文 | Different light spectra distinctly influence fungal growth and development, yet their effects on ectomycorrhizal (ECM) fungi remain poorly understood. This study investigated the effects of different lights on mycelial growth of Laccaria japonica, L. bicolor, Pisolithus sp., and Cenococcum geophilum, as well as transcriptomic regulation and ECM formation in L. japonica. ECM fungi exhibited species-specific growth responses to light, with blue and white light inhibiting L. japonica. Transcriptome analyses revealed that blue light triggered extensive stress-responsive and metabolic reprogramming, whereas red light caused comparatively minor transcriptional changes. Additionally, blue light significantly reduced ECM colonization by L. japonica compared with red light or darkness. These results demonstrate that light spectrum profoundly affects ECM fungal physiology and symbiotic capability, with continuous blue light negatively affecting both free-living and symbiotic stages of ECM fungi. |
