要旨本文 This study delves into the environmental repercussions of land use change, conducted in Aichi prefecture, Japan, from 2021 to 2023. Specifically, we investigated the effects of conversion from forest to photovoltaic solar farm installation on river water quality. The investigation involved high-disturbance phases, including deforestation and the construction of roads, ponds, and an orifice dam, followed by the installation of a photovoltaic solar farm. Results reveal noteworthy increases in electrical conductivity (EC), sulfate ions (SO42-), calcium ions (Ca2+), and suspended solids (SS) post-transition. Rigorous statistical analyses, considering temporal variations and subtle impacts linked to construction activities (road, pond, dam), rainfall patterns, and the release of water behind an orifice dam, uncover nuanced dynamics that contribute to the broader discourse on sustainable land management and renewable energy development in Japan.
